Production Information
GPC is produced by graphitizing premium petroleum coke at ultra-high temperatures (2,500–3,500°C), resulting in a high-purity carbon material characterized by ≥98% fixed carbon, ultra-low sulfur (≤0.05%), minimal ash (≤0.5%), and controlled porosity.
Application
As a superior recarburizer, it ensures precise carbon supplementation in high-grade steel, cast iron, and specialty alloy production, enhancing mechanical properties while reducing slag formation. Beyond metallurgy, GPC serves as a functional additive in plastics and rubber industries, improving electrical conductivity and wear resistance. Its unmatched consistency and thermal stability make it a critical enabler for advanced manufacturing processes demanding purity and performan
